Some forms of massage can leave you feeling a bit sore the next day. But massage shouldn't ordinarily be painful or uncomfortable. If any part of your massage doesn't feel right or is painful, speak up right away. Most serious problems come from too much pressure during massage.
Before the massage starts, your therapist will ask you about any symptoms, your medical history and what you're hoping to get out of massage. Your therapist should explain the kind of massage and techniques she will use. Massage may range from light stroking to deep pressure depending on your preference.
If the therapist is pushing too hard, ask for lighter pressure and visa vera, massage is very unique to the individual and we aim to meet all our clients needs. Occasionally you may have a sensitive spot in a muscle that feels like a knot. It's likely to be uncomfortable while your therapist works it out. No matter what kind of massage you choose, you should feel calm and relaxed during and after your massage.

Volcanic stones are placed in hot water typically at a temperature ranging from 40-60 degrees celsius for the practice. The stones are then placed on the client according to areas of concern. Alongside this, the stones are held by therapist and massaged into the muscles acting as an extension of their hands. This is an extremely popular and comforting treatment, especially a cold winters day.

Reflexology
A complementary treatment that can be effective in promoting deep relaxation and wellbeing; by reducing stress and can be key in optimising good health and building resilience. It is a touch therapy that is based on the theory that points on the feet correspond with different areas of the body and reflexologists work these points and areas.
The theory of reflexology is that all the systems and organs of the whole body are mirrored or reflected in smaller peripheral areas.
The therapist will then use their hands to apply pressure to the feet and lower leg. You may feel areas of transient discomfort during the treatment, but generally the experience should be relaxing.
